Coloring Contest
for Kids at Fall Fest
(12 and under)
Parents, bring your kids and join us for a fun day at the Lonesome Cabin Fall Fest on Saturday, October 12th. While you are there, come on over to the coloring table where your child(ren) will receive a coloring sheet of the Lonesome Cabin and lots of colorful crayons from which to choose! After they complete their coloring of the cabin, write your child's name, age, and phone number on the back so that we can contact you if it is chosen as one of the winners. Your child's entry will be on display with all of the other colorings to be judged. All entries need to be completed by 1:30 pm. Winners will be announced at 2 pm. 1st place coloring will receive $50. 2nd place will win a Lonesome T-shirt, 3rd place a Lonesome tote bag.
Amateur Art Contest - Paint or Draw a Picture of the Lonesome Cabin
and bring it to Fall Fest!
(Any age can enter - kids or adults)
Create a piece of art that depicts the Lonesome Cabin from any viewpoint that you choose. Use one of the photos below as a guide; or use your own photo as a guide; or if you prefer, set up your easel and create a painting or drawing on-site at the cabin. The finished artwork can be acrylic, oil, watercolor, charcoal, pencil, pastels, or any combination of mixed media. Size of the artwork is up to the individual artist. To enter: bring your finished piece of art to the Lonesome Cabin Fall Fest on Saturday, October 12th, before Noon. Your work will be displayed along with other entries and will be judged by a panel of art enthusiasts. The age of the artist will be taken into consideration by the judges. The 1st Place artwork will receive $100. 2nd place will win a Lonesome T-shirt, 3rd place a Lonesome tote bag.
Both the Coloring Contest and the Art Contest winners will be announced at 2:00 pm at the Lonesome Cabin Fall Fest. All entries must be picked up by 3 pm.
